Included Report Favourites

Reports you commonly use can now be favourited to make it much easier to find and select.  Simply find your report and select the January 2023 1.png icon to add to favourites Tab.

This will load when first navigating to Reporting > Reports Library.

Appointment Colours Categories

Show the colour of the Patients Type, for example NHS or Private on their diary appointments. This will be a logged-in user based setting. You can also show the colour based on the Appointment status (Arrived / In Treatment / Waiting to be Seen / Left Surgery / Left Practice)

To select one of the options head to User > My Settings > Diary Settings > Diary Appt Colour Mode.

Medical History Notifications

When navigating to a Patients record, you now can be prompt with a medical alert for the following options:

  • The medical warning alert has been enabled on a Patients medical history
  • The Practice last updated date is overdue
  • The Patient last updated date is overdue

To enable the notification, head to Settings > Practice Settings > General > Show Medical Alert Dialog

After enabling, when navigating to a Patients record it will prompt you with a alert below that will show details about the Medical History

Include Medical History Terms & Conditions

Medical History can now include any Terms & Conditions or additional information on print outs or the Pearl Portal.

To add this navigate to Settings > Practice Settings > Terms & Conditions > Medical History T&Cs

Segment sending bulk SMS messages

When sending out bulk SMS such as Recalls or through the Patient Filtering it's now possible to stagger the messages over time. This will help reduce the burden on reception and ensure patients are able to contact the practice at all times!

To begin start by preparing to send a minimum of 10 SMS messages. You will see the new dialog window below.

After pressing Send Staggered, you can now set how many SMS messages you would like to go an hour and whether they can only be sent within specific working days and hours.

Right Click Menu Improvements

The right click on appointments in the diary and the Patients appointment history menus have been visually improved with added quick access to areas, icons and grouping.

Other Changes

  • Added Video Call to correspondence communication type options
  • Added a search bar in the communication templates
  • New option to include family appointments when printing all appointments
  • Added filter by description on all x-ray reports
  • Improved appointment searching with prevent custom appointment types enabled
  • Banking report window now shows the staff member
  • Improved UDA target tracking
  • Ortho IOTNs now match the referral BOS guidelines
  • Now added a view appointment history for each appointment on the view all appointment window
  • Option to hide inactive patients from the Patients who owe money report
  • Improved user permission control when amending treatment items
