Automatic SMS Reminders

1) Whilst on the diary, click the Diary management button and then Appointment Reminders button on the left.

2) Click the "?" in the top right, then click Automated Reminders Setup

3) Simply fill out the form, then Pearl will start sending your automated SMS reminders when you have specified

How to manually send a reminder?

1) Whilst on the diary, click the Diary management button and then Appointment Reminders button on the left.

2) On the appointment reminder window select from a range of practitioners you want to remind for and select the date range you want to remind patients of their appointments for or enter a range manually.

3) Also you can see by what means the patient can be reminded through:

• Icons in grey: they can be contacted on these means
• Icons in red: they cant be contacted on these means
• Icons missing: you haven't got these means recorded

4)To send the reminders click on the appropriate button for what means you would like to send through. (make sure your Templates are set up before you send)

Sending reminders from the diary

1) Whilst on the diary, right click on the patient you would like to remind

2) Click the appropriate means in which you would like to send from

Mark patients as reminded by phone

1) Whilst on the diary, right click on the patient you would like to remind

2) Click the reminded by telephone button

3) The patient will then have a black phone icon next to their name symbolising they have been reminded by phone
