==Custom Treatment Item Categories==
We have added an option to add your own Treatment item categories. Whether it's a treatment or a defect, create your own groups!

This can be created by going to:

* Settings > Treatment Plans > Treatment Categories

* Then go to your individual Items via Settings > Treatment Plans > Treatment Items and select the relevant category.

==Group Merge Fields==
Making SMS/Email/Letter [[Templates]] or sending Emails or SMS messages will now show organised merge fields that are grouped appropriately. The search has also been improved.

==Custom Booked In/After Drop Down Menu Planned Appointments==
The list of booked before or after time slots can be customised. Have your own personalised options whether its 3 days or 3 months!

* This can be amended by going to Settings > Appointment Setup > Planned Appointment Booking Period Setup

== Added Prescription Numbers ==
Prescriptions now can have prescription numbers added to both NHS and Private prescriptions.

Private prescriptions can auto generate a number if needed.

The Report was also changed to show how many prescription items were included on the printout.

== Merge Duplicate Patients Tool ==
Have you ever accidently made a ''ghost'' copy of another record? Now you can merge the details together.

On the '''incorrect''' record, deactivate the Patient Record via details > Select Duplicate. Then it will ask you if you would like to merge the record.

Search for the original record, they may also be shown as a possible duplicate record already. Always take note of the Patient ID and take extra care when merging. '''This cannot be undone!'''

By default, we merge:

* Appointments (including all appointments and planned appointments)
* Clinical notes
* Transactions (including any payment plans)

* ''Additionally, patient documents can be selected to merge''

== Send FP17DCO to PearlPad from Ortho Assessment ==
For NHS Orthodontic practices, you can now select the current ortho assessment and send the FP17DCO document straight to either the Pearl Pad or the Patient Portal!

* Reactivating a Patient record will no longer show the additional info box. You can also set additional information for all options.
* No longer showing "Send to FP17DCO to Portal/Pearl Pad" options for Private Practices
* Now shows overdue Medical History on appointment tooltip
* Note searching now can hide the note content for just a list of patients
* FTA Manager now has a go to patient and view appointment history button
* Attention Forms now have a help guide page for each error code response
* Added additional permissions to add adhoc treatment items and amend prices.
* Improvements made to diary performance

==Opt-In To Use The New Clickable Surface Charting ==
We introduced a new charting method which now can be enabled when navigating to the charting after this update. If you have not already got this enabled, give it a try!

The Click-To-Chart system will allow users to click on the surface of a tooth instead of navigating the long charting menus.

== Appointment Icons To Show Pending Tasks & COVID Assessments ==
Appointments in the diary will now show additional information before arrival. Simply hover your mouse cursor over the appointment to reveal more.

As a reminder, you can disable all COVID features by heading to Settings > Practice Settings > General then disable COVID features if not required.

=== Warning Symbol ===
[[File:Appointment Warning Symbol.png|frameless]] This shows patients with incomplete COVID and Pearl Portal requests or a COVID assessment with potential risks of infection.

== Capture Orthodontic Details For New Patient Records ==
Orthodontic practices, you can now enter a referral date, status and patient type upon creating a new record.

This can also be forcibly required by going Settings > Practice Settings > General > New Patient Ortho Details Required.

== Other Changes ==

* Claims for patients with no recall month value will now use the practice default to be valid for transmission
* You are now no longer prevented from entering a file name on the scanning documents window
* Moving appointments via drag and drop will no longer show a warning for edited appointments
* Added an additional permissions section for creating, editing and deleting appointments + planned appointments
* TAPI Phone integrations with a single phone line will now have the phone selected on login.
